CenterPoint Church

First, let us tell you about Jesus. He is the beginning, middle and end. He is not a means to an end, nor is He the carrot at the end of a religious stick. Jesus is the Master, the King, the Message, the Word, the Lamb, the Son, the Sacrifice, the Savior, the Atonement, the Way, the Truth and the Life. He is everything. Therefore, our identity as a church is found in Him.

A church is not a building, nor is it defined as an organization. Rather, a church is a living organism - a community made up of disciples of Jesus Christ, created and instituted by God to be His agent of ministry upon the earth. Likewise, CenterPoint Church is not a building, a social club, or a secluded religious group. We are a family – a fellowship of believers who seek to glorify God by preaching, teaching, and living the gospel of Jesus Christ.

CenterPoint is a church plant with the Great Lakes Church Planting movement. This movement is part of the GLBC and of the larger Converge Worldwide national/international organization (click links for more information).

Dick & Julie Enerson have been appointed as the church planting couple for CenterPoint Church. They are not new to church planting. Along with their three children, Breanna, Cassandra, and Justin, Dick & Julie served as church planters in Belgium, Europe, from 1989 to 1997. In 1997, the Enersons returned to the United States where they were able to move closer to Dick's aging parents in North Dakota. Dick served for two years as Associate Pastor. Early in the year 2000, the Enerson family moved to Osceola, Wisconsin, to plant a church. Once planted, Dick remained as pastor to grow the church and to see it through a building project. 

Dick and Julie, along with a committed and growing group, envision a new church somewhere near the Highway 8 corridor in St. Croix Falls, Wisconsin. This location will enable CenterPoint to reach several communities, and to be a regional church. The vision for CenterPoint Church is to reach out to those who don’t attend church, those who have been burned out by church, and those who are looking for a Christian community that is authentic about being God-centered and reaching out to our communities with the good news of Jesus Christ. Together, we want to learn to love the Lord our God with all our hearts, souls, minds, and strength...and to love our neighbors as ourselves. Approximately 80% of our neighbors don't have a church home. If they don't have a church home, they aren't connected to a vital, growing relationship with God. As we grow to love God, He puts His heart on our hearts. It is then that we really start to care about the 80% who live around us who might not know Him. This is the compelling reason for starting a new church in the St. Croix Falls region.

Our desire is to follow God in planting a church that will love God and love people, taking the good news of Jesus Christ to the St. Croix Valley and to the communities where we live. We are dedicated and passionate about expanding God's Kingdom!

We meet on Sunday mornings in the St. Croix Falls High School from 10:00-11:15AM. A Nursery is available for children birth to 4 years old. Kids Korner is available throughout the messagae portion of the service for children Kindergarten through 5th grades.
