What To Expect

Here are a few things to expect during our service:

SCRIPTURE SATURATED – The Bible, God’s infallible Word, is our source of truth and the foundation to declare the hope of the Gospel of Jesus Christ. The truth of scripture allows us to see God's plan for creation more clearer and live for the glorious Hero, King, and Lord found in all of scripture, from Genesis to Revelations - Jesus Christ our Savior. We have a teaching/preaching time each morning from the Bible. (2 Tim 3:16, John 1:1, Hebrews 4:12)

PASSIONATE PRAISE – During the portion of our service where we worship in song, you may see people lifting their hands or clapping. This is our response to God, because - He is God (He is deserving in that alone), but also for the great gift of salvation He has given to those who trust on Him for salvation. Our lives then become passionate for Him. It at times is expressed as an excited praise and an intimate worship. Yet, while we encourage freedom of praise, we live in the bounds of biblical order. (Psalms 150:4, Psalms 47:1, Ephesians 5:18-19)

COMMUNITY – Christ is our King, and we are part of His kingdom community. We are not satisfied just gathering in a building, but allowing God to bring salvation, encouragement, and life to THE church, the people inside and outside those walls. We seek to edify, uplift, and disciple each other for God's glory and the name of Christ to be lifted high. (Hebrews 10:23-24, John 13:35, 1 John 4)
