On Sunday evening, March 30th, we'll be starting an important video series by John Bevere entitled "The Bait of Satan".  We would like to encourage you to make the next six Sunday evenings a priority in your schedule. 

We'll be meeting at our house each Sunday at 6:30PM.  Our address is: 2462 82nd Avenue, Osceola. To get to our house, we are located on 82nd Avenue off of 248th Street about 3/4 of a mile from either County M or Hwy 35. From direction M, turn right onto 82nd; from direction Hwy 35, turn left onto 82nd Avenue.  After the 5th house, 82nd jogs to the right.  We are the last house on the road - split level home with yellow trim. Our phone number is 294-1833. Each session will only last an hour, or you can stay longer to discuss what we've just watched.

Have you been trapped? This series exposes one of Satan's most deceptive snares used to pull believers out of God's will. It is the trap of offense. Jesus said, "It is impossible that offenses will not come" (Luke 17:1). Nevertheless, most people who are ensnared by the bait of Satan don't even realise it. So don't be fooled! You Will encounter offense, and it's up to you how you're going to let it affect your relationship with God. Your response will determine your future. You can be delivered from the bait of Satan, stay free from offense and escape the victim mentality. Don't let another's sin or mistake affect your relationship with God!

If you were unable to make it to the January 6th Concert of Prayer that was hosted by all of the evangelical churches in the valley, you really missed an amazing event.  You don't want to miss the next one that is scheduled for Good Friday (THIS Friday), March 21st at El Salem/Twin Falls Christian Center.  It will start at 7:00PM.  To get there:  from Dresser, go east on County Road F (direction Trollhaugen).  Stay on County Road F for about 6 miles.  The church is located on the left-hand side of the road.  This will be a great opportunity to worship together and to reconnect with one another again!  Jonathan will be the main worship leader.  It is sure to be a VERY encouraging time!! It will be great for us all to see one another again!

If you have not met our dogs, please meet Spencer and Axel.  Along with these two friends, we decided to make a quick trip to visit Julie's parents in Whitewater, Wisconsin.  We will return to Osceola on Wednesday, the 19th of March.  Our third dog, Fergie (YES, we actually have a third sheepdog!), is vacationing at Roger & Sandy Erickson's home, soaking up all of the love and attention she's receiving from them. We're grateful for this time to "regroup" and relax a bit before we take our next ministry steps.  Stay tuned!  Thanks for all of your prayers.  We can really feel their healing power!

Stay strong in the Lord...He is in control!  Whoo-Hoo!!

Our son, Justin, left this afternoon for Germany where he will be attending the FUEL Program with Steiger, International.  Along with attending this discipleship program, he will also be making several two-week missions trips to Poland and Turkey.  He plans to return to the U.S. the end of July.  Thank you to everyone who is praying for him, and to those who participated in his financial support.  God supplied his financial need in amazing ways.  Please pray for Justin as he tries to determine if God is asking him to serve in Europe upon graduation.  Pray for safety as he travels, and that God would be glorified in and through him.

We had a great "field trip" to Journey North Church in Pine City, Minnesota.  We ended up taking two vehicle; Jonathan, Tara, Dick, Julie, & Dorothy were in one, and Roger, Sandy, Jill Stelter, and Laurie & Carly Peikert in the other.  Journey North is a new church that sprung out of Pine City Evangelical Free Church.  Tim & Julie Adams were the pastor of the Free Church, but felt led to start a new endeavor last August.  After several months of preparation, they launched Journey North the end of November and are going 200 strong on Sunday mornings.  It was VERY exciting to visit them and to see all that God is doing!  After the service, we all stopped for lunch in North Branch and had a blast talking about the service and about all that is happening in one another's lives.  We'll plan another trip in April.  We'll keep you posted.

Many have asked how we're doing.  The short answer is, "We are alive and well!"  Some very good friends felt that a change of scenery was in order and they sent us to Mazatlan, Mexico, for a week-long vacation.  Can you believe it?  Dick came back looking quite brown, and Julie came back with a "red" tan :-).  What a treat to lay in the sun, and to leave all of our cares and concerns on the shores of Mexico!  Thank you so much for all of your prayers and support!

We are taking a quick trip on Sunday, March 9th, to visit a church in Pine City, Minnesota.  It is called "Journey North".  Jonathan & Tara will be joining us.  If you would like to come along to worship with us, please give us a call. We'll be leaving around 9:15AM.  We'll stop after the service to catch a bite to eat and discuss the service.  It should be a lot of fun!

Ladies, if you haven't heard yet, Illean Weber is leading a Beth Moore study on the book of Daniel.  It will be meeting on Wednesday evenings from 6:30PM to 8:30PM.  This will be a great way to stay connected and to delve into a great study of God's Word.  For more information, you can contact Illean @ 294-3394 or illeanw@hotmail.com

We plan on attending the Concert of Prayer scheduled for Good Friday, March 21st, that will be held at El Salem/Twin Falls Christian Center.  We'll let you know the starting time soon, but would like to encourage you to mark your calendars and plan to join us.  We'd love to see you again!
